Shops, restaurants, and small manufacturers in the Central District — take on the Green Challenge! Any concrete action in sustainable development or social impact is eligible.

PME MTL Centre-Ouest is relaunching its "I'm taking up the green challenge" contest, designed to encourage local businesses to adopt eco-responsible or social practices.

Follow in the footsteps of these two Central District businesses! The San-Ô Saké brewery and 1ER MAI were awarded a $500 bursary in the last edition of the contest, for the following challenges:

  • Sourcing compostable products/plastics
  • Recyclable packaging
  • Development of new collaborative products
  • Setting up a scrap sorting station
  • Collaboration with a view to possible takeover.
  • Manufacture of new items from fabric scraps: rugs, bags, etc.
  • Sales of imperfect items, samples and prototypes (e.g. at the MAD festival).
  • R-Development of new prototypes from small fabric scraps and testing for the creation of rugs.

Are you taking actions similar to those of these businesses? Sign up for the contest!
